UtiliVAC

UtiliVAC

Key features and benefits

  • High air volume, high vacuum power: 750 mbar vacuum.
  • Weighs only 72 kg, easily portable, needing just one man to move it around.
  • Comes with a 280 litres collection container.
  • A 4” collection hose and inlet, the most practical for ease of operation and efficiency.
  • Powered by compressed air in the form of a 180-250 cfm portable air compressor.
  • The minimum compressed air requirements are 185cfm at 100 PSI, ie. 5.5 m³ per hour
  • Teams up with an air lance which runs off the same compressor source.
  • No filters to clog, near maintenance-free operation – requires only periodic cleaning.
  • Small size and footprint of 900×900 mms is ideal to get close to the location of the hole or task.

UtiliVAC - easy to move

Designed with a four inch vacuum system, the UtiliVAC is the ideal size for complete ease of operation and efficiency. It delivers over 1,400 cubic metres of air volume, which is very effective for lifting heavy materials like stones, and more than enough power to pull liquids and thick slurries.

Within the UtiliVAC’s vacuum unit is a precision arrangement of cascading air ejectors and differential inlet control valves, resulting in air flow amplification and vacuum.

The internal geometry and dimensions have been carefully optimised through computer modelling and prototyping. The UtiliVAC is amazingly efficient at turning the energy contained in compressed air into useable vacuum flow.

The UtiliVAC is made without filters, so there’s very little to get clogged, or that needs cleaning or replacing. It doesn’t need fluid changes, belt replacement, filter maintenance or knowledge of engine maintenance – so you focus on the time line and the bottom line.

UtiliVAC - comes with an air lance

The Gotland UtiliVAC comes complete with an air lance, which includes a dead-man grip valve, heat-treated nozzle and extendible design. It will loosen most types of difficult soils by pulverising hard, dry or even frozen soil formations, allowing them to be easily collected with the ContraVac vacuum hose.

The UtiliVAC is light, easy to use, and is the ideal tool for excavating utilities to depths of 3 metres or more.

All of which makes the UtiliVAC ideal for anyone in the business of digging holes or trenches for utility maintenance, service connections and disconnection, and any other keyhole or small hole excavation.
